October the 5th don’t forget to bring your pets at 9:00. It’s really fun to see these beautiful animals and all of the joy they’ve brought to us.
You also have the chance help make a bouquet in honor of a pet that died or ran away. It will be on the altar on October 5th.

Hi,
Hope your summer has been great. Ours has gone way too quickly. The good news is that Sunday School is about to get cranked up for the fall. We are looking forward to a movie night coming up soon. Last night at meeting we were talking about how to use the space we have. We need your input:
1. Do you want to be in a separate room from the K-4 year olds? or do you want to be at one end of the same room?
2. If we go back to being separated what would you like the walls to be like? painted a different color? Is there a theme you would like painted there?
3. Do we need to get any furniture that will help the space be ours?
Tell us your ideas.

Hey Guys,
My mom has not written in a while so I am doing it for her just this once. A lot of people have nothing to do over the summer. We are thinking about if every Friday or Saturday nights we could have a movie night and earlier that day there could be some sort of activity or contest such as crafts or we could have Pet Day. If you think of some other things we could do then comment me back and I will try to post it.

Last week we started a great poster about The Elders. We did not go this week so we do not know how it turned out. If you were there then let us know what you thought. Tell me about the nametags you made.
Has anyone been thinking about camping? The June 20 one is just around the corner. Don’t forget to ask your parents.

For those who missed Sunday, we started a timeline of Bible stories. Tyler, why don’t you put the first five stories on your list in a comment, and we can read them for ourselves and talk about them. There are some pretty wild stories if you stop and think.
My favorite idea that there is the possibility of us becoming bff with the God who made stars, galaxies, atoms. Look at Genesis 3:8. If you can get past all the naked part, you see that God was used to having an afterdinner walk every night with Adam and Eve. And when they didn’t show up he missed them. Have you ever thought that God might miss us?
We also had some cool thoughts about what God looks like. Ben said the He must look like an old man in a white robe with a long white beard. You will see him drawn on the timeline. I said I thought he might be like the sun. Tyler said he looks like Jesus. Any other thoughts?
See you next week.

Is anybody tired yet?
“Nothing But Nets” Concert:We did not go to the concert. Did any of you go? How was it?
Saturday MS Walk: We did go to the MS Walk and it was great. There were loads of people walking. Some people were even in wheel chairs. I can’t Allison’s andFederal Jack’s gave us a dinner afterwards.
Monday Senior Luncheon:Leah Payne and Anna Falls both played their violins. Anna’s cousin Emma Voelker sang. The food was really good there too. How was it in the kitchen Katie (S)?
Thursday Circus:Tanks to Mr. Moore the kids are invited to go to a circus in Wilmington, Massachusetts today. Let’s think of a way to thank him. I’m sure the circus will be fun! Hope to see you there.

Whoever is around next Monday (April 21) we have a great chance to bless the truly elderly. There is a senior luncheon and Karen Dombrowski asked if you would like to participate (and she did not even know that you were the “elders”.) Here is the scoop: Bring your instrument. Sing a song. Do some gymnastic stunts. We’ll have lunch with the folks and entertain them after.
Let me know what you think. Another great way to serve.

Wasn’t Jesus such a cool magnetic character? He was really popular and famous with many people.
That’s what we talked about last week. The disciples were fighting over who would be first and Jesus said that if you really wanted to be cool and you really wanted to be famous then you have to be a servant of all. Last week we also ate a lot of brownies! Did you guys taste the ones downstairs?? There were REALLY good!! I did not eat lunch till four! Don’t forget that this weekend we have lots of opportunities to be servants (aka slaves!). Nothing But Nets, MS Walk and help with crafts on Sunday morning. Hey Tyler, do you want to share that Bible story list with everybody else?
I’m sure it would not take that long to type in a comment!
That’s all for now! ~By Lou Ann and

Last week (April 5) we gathered for the first time. The name of our group is unofficially called The Elders. We explored new ideas on how to use our time together such as going frog hunting, camping and performing a play.
Next week there is a lot going on. On April 18 from 7 to 10 pm is the “Nothing But Nets” concert. Here is our opportunity to help out. We have been asked to serve drinks and collect money at the door. Also we can provide refreshments!!! Saturday the 19 at Consolidated School the MS Walk will also take place. We will talk about this more on Sunday!
